The Acer Aspire 1551 ultra-thin was shown a month ago but now pricing and exact specifications are known for the laptop. Aspire 1551 ultra-thin laptop has begun popping up in stores in Europe where it can be pre-ordered in two configurations priced at €499 and €599.
The Aspire 1551 weights in just 1.40kg, runs Windows 7 Home Premium and features a 11.6-inch LED-backlit (1366 x 768) display, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics, a 320GB hard drive, a 5-in-1 card reader, Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a built-in webcam, and a 6-cell battery.
The €499 model packs 2GB of RAM and a 1.3 GHz Turion II Neo X2 K325 processor, while the €599 version has 4GB of RAM, Bluetooth, and a 1.5 GHz Turion II Neo X2 K625 chip.
