Google Adsense is an invaluable tool for Webmasters and bloggers looking to make the highest level of income possible from their Internet creations. They simply apply for an account and assuming it is approved, they will conduct a one-off exercise of incorporating codes provided them by Google upon their site. Thereafter, Google will populate their blog or website with ads appropriate to their content and revenue generation will be possible on an ongoing basis, free of further administration. Article writers, however, are not always able to take advantage of Google Adsense quite so effectively and may have to be a little more imaginative in order to generate revenue in this respect.

When an article is written for and published on the Web and ongoing revenue generation applies, it is likely to be the case that the writer will earn based upon pooled revenue from the site which hosts their article. This is by no means necessarily a bad thing but it does to a certain extent limit both the control which the writer has over their earnings and often their ability to monitor those earnings on a day to day basis. As it is always desirable that article writers be looking to achieve as many views for their articles as possible, finding sites upon which links can be placed and which also generate some form of Google Adsense revenue is extremely desirable.

While the majority of social networking and social bookmarking sites afford excellent opportunities to article writers for achieving page views for their work, the majority of these sites do not pay the writer in a direct fashion. One site which is different in this respect is Xomba. By signing up for Xomba, the writer is invited to include their Google Adsense publisher ID on their profile and Xomba will split the revenue generated on a 50/50 basis. This means that as well as generating page views for articles, the writer can earn very respectable levels of revenue almost as a sundry benefit with Google Adsense.

In a less direct fashion, article writers can earn with Google Adsense by creating and using websites or blogs as an effective means of promoting their articles. This would only be effective, however, where the article writer writes on a very defined subject and has sufficient material to create a blog or website to supplement the content already published in their articles. Duplicate content is of course never a sensible option but by including hyperlinks in the text of a blog or creating a dedicated, “Useful Links,” panel in the sidebar, page views can be obtained and Google Adsense revenue can also be generated. If the writer has two or more subjects upon which they write authoritatively and regularly, two or more blogs of this type should be created, where of course time permits.

There are article writers who approach the concept of generating Google Adsense revenue from their articles by either deliberately or inadvertently breaching the conditions of the site upon which they publish their articles, or those of Google Adsense. One example of this would be by trying to incorporate a Google Adsense ID or coding in to the body of an article. Not only is this practice extremely unlikely to prove successful, it may well result in permanent exclusion from either the publishing platform, Google Adsense, or both and put the writer’s entire article writing career in significant jeopardy.
