Sigma has outed its new DSL camera that could rival the recently launched Nikon D800 with 36MP sensor. The new Sigma DSLR is dubbed SD1 Merrill and highlights the capability of a whopping 46-MP APS-C sensor and no compromise on its performance.
According to its CEO of the company, the Sigma’s SD1 DSLR is actually renamed SD Merill and will get a price cut that will save you money in more than half of its previous price that is $9,700 and will be available for just $3,300.
It is all about MegaPixel race, but it is not the all about the performance of the camera, even with high megapixel cameras can have poor quality for images taken and many other factors are also important in taking great photos.
