Since the Nokia E71 released in july 2008, Its popularity is growing day by day. Not many people know that Nokia E71 was voted Best Smartphone at the 2008 Mobile Choice Consumer Awards. The Nokia E71 succeeded the Nokia E61/61i models, building on the base design and form factor with offcourse alot more enhanced features.
In this post i will tell you how to connect Apple Bluetooth Wireless keyboard with Nokia E71.
How to setup Apple Bluetooth Keyboard with Nokia E71
Connecting an Apple Bluetooth keyboard with E71 is very easy. Thanks to the built-in Wireless Keyboard application.
Here are the steps to follow:
1. From the Menu screen, go to Office: Wireless. keyboard.
2. Select Options: Find Keyboard. If your handset’s Bluetooth isn’t already on, the program will prompt you to turn it on before it starts scanning.
3. Keyboard Power On: Once the Nokia E71 starts scanning for keyboards, press the power button on the keyboard. Here’s the only tricky part of the whole process: after the two devices see each other, the handset will ask you to input a code on the keyboard. At this point, just type any four digits on the Apple keyboard followed by the Enter key for example, in my pairing I typed 1111, then Enter. Your phone will now ask for you to enter the same code. Do so and thats it!
Congrates! Your Nokia E71 and Apple Bluetooth keyboard are now paired.

A paired Bluetooth keyboard not only allows you type at full speed on your smartphone, it actually allows you to control your entire phone right from the keyboard.
You must be wondering why the hell i need to connect Nokia E71 with Apple bluetooth keyboard. well there are so many tricky situations where you can not take your laptop with yourself or you need to speed up things on your E71. One more cool thing about Nokia E71 is that there is no comparison between Nokia E71 and you laptop batteries.

A SUPPORTED BY THE DEVELOPER TOOLS? It was interesting. You seem very knowledgeable in your field.
Thanks for the post. I am looking for some advanced help on the topic though. I bought the apple wireless keyboard for my E71 yesterday. The keyboard works like a charm, in fact, I am typing this on the apple keyboard
.
What I want to ask you is that would you know how to access or perhaps how to assign certain keys on the apple keyboard to work like say the answer/reject call buttons?
Thanks in advance

Some good points there. That aside, my next phone will definately be a Nokia.
[..] A bit unrelated, but I absolutely liked this website post [..]
Being Newbie, I am normally searching on the internet for content that could aid me. Appreciate it
Cheers for this particular informative blog. More often than not, the best ideas come from the websites you may not expect. Not long ago, I failed to give so much thought to posting comments on blog entries and have left comments even less. Viewing your positive information, will probably inspire me to do this more often.
FYI, I can’t see this correctly on the latest Montif browser.
Hey this blog is really nice i think i can get a lot out of it…..
I think microsoft should make microsoft points free…
I’ve a particular issue: I’ve got a azerty apple bluetooth keyboard, wich is recognised as a qwerty one, which is pretty inconvenious…
I tried changing language of the phone or of the text, but it’s still recognised as a qwerty.
I searched for other wireless-keyboard softwares, found none..
I tried updating the program, but didn’t find a way to do it properly.
Has someone met the same difficulties?
