The Apple Nehalem Mac Pro is a great move that Apple has made to perk up the Mac Pro range of desktops. The new computer features the Intel “Nehalem” Xeon processors and next-generation system architecture to deliver up to twice the performance of the previous generation system. With the unique combination of hardware/software configuration and ease of use, the new Mac Pro is all set to lead the desktop market.
The interior of the computer is so designed to offer easy access to all the internal components in a way to simplify expansion. Also, the computer comes with four directly connectable cable-free hard drive carriers which you can use to install up to 4TB of internal memory storage when you are using 1TB 7200 RPM Serial ATA drives.
The Apple Nehalem Mac Pro with NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 also gives you high performance graphics. The computer has the hardware configuration to make it compatible with some of the latest hi-tech games. Its graphics is up and ready to allow you to play an array of high detail games. With the desktop offering such exceptional game performance, you can now play your favorite games at maximum resolution and detail, with no reduction in game quality.
The Desktop’s Xeon “Nehalem” processor comprises of a futuristic version of Intel architecture. The Mac Pro’s Intel Xeon processors, actually can run up to speeds of 2.93 GHz, all with an integrated memory controller that comes with three channels of 1066 MHz DDR3 ECC memory to cut memory latency up to 40 percent and to deal out up to 2.4 times the memory bandwidth.
With the fresh quad core Mac Pro costing $2,499, and the new 8-core Mac Pro priced at $3,299, the Apple Nehalem Mac Pro is indeed a monster computer packed with high power hardware and software. Not a bad buy at all.
